Social Habits
One of the early habits that is important for children is Social Habits, or Social skills. This develops the interaction skills for a team environment and is key for the success of the kids. Some of the key areas are:

Manners
These are simple social rules or etiquette for the kids. They are like the “soft edges” of your behavior.
¨When asking for something, say “Please”.
¨When receiving something, say “Thank you”.
¨Do not interrupt grown-ups who are speaking unless it is
emergency.
¨Use “Excuse me” to get attention.
¨Ask for permission before using others’ items.
¨Don’t use mean words.
¨Cover your mouth/nose when you cough/sneeze.
